Do you want to know what I never get tired of? These seven products appear at the top of my list of new essentials!
Guerlain Abeille Royale EyeTech Serum (130 €)
As if this non-spicy and non-spicy superluxe serum was not enough to make me addicted, the unique design of the shape of the applicator of product made me change my spoon to spoon eye cream for something new. I love the way the tube design allows your finger to fit the ergonomic applicator perfectly so you can massage the serum just right.
Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection (16 €)
It could be one of the coolest products of all time! On the days when I reapply mascara throughout the day, my eyelashes almost always end up getting worse – think crisp, lumpy and spider-like (I always forget that nothing good comes from that). But, this clear serum that revives the eyelashes works by softening your eyelashes to “reactivate” your mascara for long, separate and full-bodied lashes.
Shu Uemura Wonder Worker (33 €)
The idea of air drying my hair is not the one I will kiss never, but as a beauty editor, I had to see what it was all about with these new products that promise style and zero frizz when you give up all forms of heat. I sprayed this semi-thick primer on my hair and let it sit for a good 20 minutes, knowing that I would definitely dry out afterwards. Not only did it smell good, it also took half the time it normally takes to dry my hair. And, it left my hair soft, shiny and pinned for three days!
Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Ultra Soft Skin for Sensitive Skin (88 €)
I sang my praises on how much I love them Dr. Dennis Gross skin care products, one of my favorites for home peels and acidic products. So I was looking forward to getting my hands on his new miracle. These acid-rich, two-step peels for everyday use (use the exfoliant first, then wait two minutes before applying the facelift) will not leave my skin red, irritated or broken. Instead, they harness the power of soothing herbs, exfoliating alpha hydroxl acids, and soothing oatmeal so you get all the glowing benefits of the skin without any of the unwanted side effects.
Phace bioactive illuminating serum (92 €)
[19459023 ] Each skin type can benefit from a complexion correcting serum. And this one, whose pH is balanced so that your skin does not panic (in fact, the whole line is) gives my skin a luminous glow without any sticky sensation that some serums leave behind. Loaded with Vitamin C, Gallic Acid, Plant Stem Cells, Licorice Root and Hyaluronic Acid, this gentle serum works to lighten everything from sun spots to acne marks and everything in between. .
Bobbi Brown Luxe Lipstick (35 €)
Known for its super creamy and portable lipsticks, this brand new addition to the line does not disappoint. I love it in pale mauve, a perfect shade of pale pink with a hint of pink; it leaves my lips hydrated and soft while reducing the appearance of lines and flaking.
The idea of using a stick foundation scared me – I always thought that my makeup would end up looking heavy and hardened and that it wouldn’t blend properly. But that all changed after trying this one from Make Up For Ever. Besides the fact that I’m literally obsessed with this foundation – I pretty much swore my standard liquid foundations for this one – I couldn’t believe how beautiful and flawless the cover was and how long the makeup lasted. Personally, I like to apply it with the Doll 10 Beauty makeup brush, which really gives a flawless, almost airbrushed finish.
