Expert needs to know about injectables and fillers before, during and after treatment

According to plastic surgeon Victor Haim Cohen , the main reason why faces start to appear older. As he explains: “In the face, we have three areas of loss: bones, subcutaneous fat, and loss of thickness and elasticity of the skin. As the skin thins and loses support from below, we see wrinkles and sagging. “

So what can we do to slow it down? “The use of fillers helps fight subcutaneous fat loss and contributes to thickening of the skin,” says Dr. Cohen. “Used in conjunction with the neuromodulators [Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau], which relax the muscles responsible for creating wrinkles, we can backtrack, at least temporarily. These treatments must be repeated with a certain regularity because the aging process never stops. ”
